Nifty around 10,950, Sensex down 200 pts; Tata Motors, Yes Bank top losers
Among sectors, except IT and auto other indices are trading lower led by the metal, infra, FMCG and energy.

Gold Update: Gold prices retreated below the key USD 1,500 level on Wednesday as traders booked profits and focus turned to the minutes of the US Federal Reserve's July meeting for clues on future interest rate cuts.



Crude Update: Brent crude oil futures rose above USD 60 a barrel on Wednesday after industry data showed a larger-than-expected drop in US crude inventories, but ongoing worries about a possible global recession capped gains.

Market Extends Losses: Benchmark indices extended losses in afternoon with the Sensex falling 183.29 points to 37,144.72 and the Nifty50 declining 66 points to 10,951.
